Echo Absorbent Fruit Pads are an eco-friendly solution designed to enhance the freshness and shelf life of soft fruits like raspberries and blackberries. Made from 100 % plastic-free and tree-free materials using sustainable second harvest crop waste and grasses, these pads offer a truly green alternative to traditional absorbents. They are certified to EU standard UNI 11743:2019 and are part of the Tensei bio-compostible range, meaning they can be recycled or composted after use, helping reduce packaging waste and environmental impact.
The embossed surface of Echo pads provides gentle cushioning to minimise bruising and spoilage, while the fully absorbent surface efficiently removes fungal droplets and moisture, reducing the risk of rot and helping maintain fruit quality during storage and transport. With around 500 ml/m² absorbency and availability in both pad and reel formats, Echo pads are versatile for a range of fruit packaging needs. Their distinctive black/blue colour also supports easy IR-based recycling recognition.
